项目摘要

健康科学を専攻する大学教員を対象に，学生のメンタルヘルス問題に関する彼らの知識，態度，考え方，実践について検討した。対象者は日本の3大学で健康科学を専門分野とする日本人大学教員17名で，学生のメンタルヘルス問題について問うフォーカスグループインタビューを実施した。実施時期は，2019年3月～9月。各グループは4～7人で構成されており，個人属性（性別，年齢，婚姻状況，職位，保有学位，学歴，身近なメンタルヘルス問題の有無など），日本のメンタルヘル問題，ビネットを用いた学生のメンタルヘルス問題に対する知識，態度，実践についてインタビューを行った。インタビュー内容は録音され，逐語録が作成された。その結果，「日本におけるメンタルヘルス問題」「学生のメンタルヘルス問題への振り返り」「可能なサポート体制」の3テーマが抽出された。また，「日本におけるメンタルヘルス問題」には「家族の問題」「社会の問題」「スティグマ」の3つの下位テーマが，「学生のメンタルヘルス問題への振り返り」には「学生の行動」「スタッフの関与の程度」「障壁と促進要因」の3つの下位テーマが，「可能なサポート体制」には「大学の取り組み」「コミュニケーションとつながり」「介入と予防」の3つの下位テーマが抽出された。以上の結果は，大学教員を対象とした日本独自のメンタルヘルス問題介入プログラムを構築するうえで，大いに貢献するものである。今後，学生のメンタルヘルス関して，問題の早期発見，支援のための適切な情報提供など，大学教員の取り組みに関するさらなる検討が必要である。
