文部科学省では学校教育分野、社会教育分野における情報化の推進のため様々な取組を実施している。学校教育では授業でのICT（Information and　Communication Technology）活用が着実に進展し、情報教育の充実やアクティブ・ラーニングへのICT活用が議論されているがICT教育が進んでいない教育分野も見受けられる。歯科臨床の現場では、患者情報や検査データをデジタル化をして管理をしている。しかし、歯科衛生士教育ではデジタル化に対応しきれておらず活用が進んでいない。2022年度は効果的な学生指導の資料とすることを目的に、歯科衛生士教育に特化したアプリケーションを用いて、歯科衛生学生30名を対象に顎模型での歯周ポケット測定について測定時間と測定値の正解率について分析した。顎模型での部位別の歯周ポケット測定値の正解率はMann－WhitneyのU検定を用いて２群間の比較および３群間の比較はKruskal-Wallis検定を行った。全顎の歯周ポケット測定の正解率と測定時間の相関にはSpearmanの順位相関係数を用いた。有意水準は5％未満とした。測定時間の中央値（第1四分位―第3四分位）は36.48分（28.24分－44.33分）で最短測定時間は19.09分で最長測定時間は59.52分であった。全顎28本168か所の歯周ポケット測定値正解率の中央値は55.4％であり、半数近くが正確に測定できていなかった。部位別の正解率は上顎前歯部唇側が77.8％で最も高かった。歯周ポケット測定の測定時間と測定値の正解率を分析し、学生の習熟度を教員が把握することは授業で効果的な指導を行うための資料となることが示唆された。今後は、教育的効果を検証するため、データ収集と分析を継続する。
