项目摘要

本研究の目的は、文化政策の進展を背景に各地に広がった、多様なアクターによって成り立つ「アートプロジェクト」を支える人々の、(1)労働実態とキャリア形成のプロセスをインタヴュー調査によって明らかにし、(2)現場に即した持続可能な文化政策のあり方を提示するとともに、(3)これら現代の芸術生産にかかわる労働者の視点から「芸術生産の社会学」を展開させることである。本年度は主に日本とイギリスのアートプロジェクト、文化政策、労働、ジェンダーに関する文献と資料の収集を行い、文化政策や社会保障の変化と合わせ、調査対象者が受けているコロナ禍の影響、さらには芸術文化業界の過酷な労働やハラスメント被害の告発が進む現状の把握に努めた。また水戸と京都の現代アートの展覧会に赴き、現地フィールドワークと資料収集を行った。研究成果は、「アートと労働」をテーマとした現代美術作家・田中功起の映像作品《事後勉強会》および関連するトークイベントへの参加、若手女性作家のグループ展《female artist meeting》でのレクチャー、オルタナティヴ・スペースでのトーク出演、日本経済新聞連載記事「やりがい搾取を許さない（3）」へのコメントなど、ひろく社会に向けて公表することができた。また、カルチュラル・タイフーン学会での発表（グループ発表題目「（ポスト）フェミニズムと現代美術」における個人発表「美術における労働問題」）や、学会誌『アートマネジメント研究』への寄稿論文「アートマネジメントの労働とウェルビーイング」の執筆など、学術分野においても公表することができた。
