项目摘要

これまで，茨城県北浦における珪藻殻の運搬・堆積過程を推定することを目的として，珪藻殻の破片化率および両殻共存率を明らかにした．本年度は，湖底堆積物の砕屑物と珪藻殻の関連を調べる目的で粒度分析を実施した．分析試料は，2014年および2021年の現地調査で採取された湖底表層堆積物を用いた．試料は炭酸塩除去，有機物分解および生物源シリカ除去を行い，ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム水溶液で分散させた懸濁液をレーザー回折式粒度分布測定計で分析した．粒度分析の結果，湖底表層堆積物の粒度分布は多峰性を示し，河川および湖岸付近の地点では平均粒径が増加した．また，砕屑物の淘汰度を反映する分散係数は平均粒径が増加する地点で減少した．このことから，流入河川及び巴川河口では粗粒な堆積物が供給され，その割合は沿岸域に比べて多いと考えられた．X線回折による分析の結果，湖全体に石英および長石類が堆積していることが明らかとなっており，流入河川付近では角閃石類および長石類の増加が示唆されている．また，元素分析の結果から，流入河川付近の地点では鉄，チタン，カルシウムが増加した．つまり，砕屑物の組成が湖盆と河川・湖岸付近で異なり，砕屑物が河川・湖岸から供給されていることが示唆された．砕屑物分析の結果から，付着性の珪藻殻が砕屑物と同様に河川や湖岸，周辺の植生帯から流入したと考えた．つまり，巴川付近で多産するPlanothidium lanceolatumおよび植物付着性であるCocconeis placentulaは河川および湖岸付近の地点で現地性の高い遺骸が堆積し，沿岸域の地点では現地性の低い遺骸が堆積した．このことは，2種の分類群の両殻共存率および破片化率と整合的であった．また，Cocconeis placentulaの両殻共存率の変動パターンは現地性の高い遺骸に対して鋭敏であることが示唆された．

For this purpose, the rate of fragmentation and the rate of blueshifting of algae shells were estimated. During the year, particle size analysis was carried out for the purpose of adjusting the relationship between sediment and algal shells. The analytical samples were collected from field surveys conducted in 2014 and 2021. Sample carbon acid removal, organic decomposition and removal of biological sources, and analysis of dispersion in aqueous solution by retro-analysis particle size distribution meter. The results of grain size analysis show that the grain size distribution of sediments in the surface layer of lake bottom is multi-peak, and the average grain size increases near the river and lake shore. The dispersion coefficient reflects the increase in the average particle size. The results of X-ray analysis show that quartz and feldspar deposits in the whole lake are increasing. The results of elemental analysis show that the iron in the vicinity of the river flows into the river. The composition of the debris is different from that of the lake basin, river and lake shore. The debris is supplied from the river and lake shore.
