「インドネシアの経済改革と国有企業：「抑制された国家資本主義」論の批判的検討」と題する学会報告(アジア政経学会2022年度春季大会、web開催)をおこなった。第2次ジョコ政権での国家資本主義の台頭の中で国有企業活用を議論してきた先行研究に対して、いくつかの検証の必要性を指摘した。①アジア経済危機以降の金融監督の改革の実効性、②クラウディング・アウト効果の合理性、③開発の成果、といった点の検証である。そこでは、金融部門の国有企業の汚職による国家損失の大きさを指摘し、それに対する監視の実効性を検討する必要性も指摘した。共著論文Muhamad Iksan; Tetsu Konishi.2022. Vol.1, No.3)を執筆した。中央銀行は金融システム全体の監督を担うため、その独立性は金融監督の実効性に及ぼす影響は大きい。同論文では、インドネシアおよび他の東アジア諸国における中央銀行の独立性を数量的に比較した。権威主義体制から民主化の過程でインドネシアでは中央銀行の独立性は維持された一方で、日本では第二次安倍政権期に政府のコミットメントの下で国債大量購入を実施してきたことを指摘した。2023年5月現在、単独論文「インドネシアの金融監督における行為規制の実効性：国有生命保険会社の資金による株価操作事件を事例として」（仮題）を執筆し、専門誌への投稿を準備している。同論文では、2019年に発覚した国有保険会社の資金流用事件を分析し、非銀行金融部門での金融監督の実効性を論証する計画である。
