Project C06 (Kühnel; Targeting the mutanome of liver cancer by viral oncolysis and tumor-directed immunotherapies) will analyze epitope spreading in response to the already implemented oncolytic virotherapy and PD-1 inhibition in models with defined CD4- and CD8-neoepitope spectrum. Also neoepitope-specific T-cell response pattern after virolytic therapy and the effect of immunostimulatory transgenes in epitope spreading will be analyzed in this context in order to develop optimized strategies combining virotherapy and checkpoint inhibition.
