项目摘要

本研究は、社会的・文化的背景を異にする外国人生徒の受け入れが進む日本の学校に関心を寄せ、とりわけ教師の対応に注目し研究を進めてきた。先行研究を概観すると、教育のディマンドサイドである生徒の立場に立った分析が多くを占め、そこから学校や教師のネガティブな面が析出されてきた。その一方で、サプライサイドである学校や教師の取り組みを、彼らの立場に立って捉えようとする研究は限られてきた傾向にある。そのことによって教師の置かれた現状や、受け入れに対する教師なりの論理が埋没させられてきた。こうした反省に立ち、本研究は学校や教師のネガティブな面に注目しすぎるのではなく、教師の声に耳を傾け、外国人生徒の受け入れに対する教師なりの論理を彼らの立場から捉えることを目的に進めてきた。その第一段階として、特別な入学試験によって日本語指導が必要な生徒を受け入れる高校に着目し、その制度的機能を分析した。その成果である「在日外国人生徒に対する高校特別入学枠の機能に関する研究」は『比較教育学研究』第57号に掲載されている。その成果を踏まえ、第二段階では知識社会学の立場から「外国人生徒の受け入れに対する教師の解釈枠組みとその要因」を分析し、教師の間主観的な日常世界のあり様を描き出した。第三段階では、構築主義の観点から「従来の研究で産出されてきた学校・教師のネガティブな言説に対する教師の語り」を分析し、批判的な言説と教師の現実の狭間で葛藤する教師の姿を描き出した。

This study focuses on the social and cultural background of foreign students and their participation in Japanese schools. In advance, research and analysis on the position of students in education will be carried out. The research on the school teachers 'choice and attitude is limited. This study focuses on the teachers 'life, the teachers' voice, the foreign students 'acceptance and the teachers' logic. The first level of Japanese language instruction is required for students to be admitted to higher education institutions. The results of this research are published in "A Study on the Function of Special Admission System for Foreign Students in Japan" and "Comparative Education Research" No. 57. In the second stage, the author analyzes the main causes of foreign students 'participation in teachers' education and describes the problems of teachers 'participation in daily life. In the third stage, the author analyzes and criticizes the output of future research and the teacher's speech, and describes the teacher's attitude.
