项目摘要

本年度は、研究対象地である能登半島とフィリピン・イフガオ州において、これまで収集してきたデータの補足と研究成果の地域への還元や今後の研究の方向性について検討するためのフィールドワークを行った。特に、イフガオ州においては4－5月にかけて約3週間現地に滞在し、各町で毎年行われるタウン・フィエスタにおいて民具がいかなる文化表象の場で使われどのような機能を果たしているのか観察を行った。また、両地域各一つのコレクションについては、これまでに調査した一点一点の民具のモノの来歴（モノの獲得・製造・使用・廃棄から収集・保存・活用まで）のデータを基に行ってきた資料目録の作成・編集を進め、現地においてデータを補足・確認するとともに、資料目録の活用についてコレクションの所有・管理者と話し合いを行った。また、こうして作成された資料目録からデータベースを作成し、将来的にリンクト・オープン・データ (LOD)として共有していくための方法の検討も行った。これについては、国立歴史民俗博物館の特別共同利用研究員として1年間の研究活動を行い、修了の認定を受けた。本年度の研究成果については、特に民具の収集・保存が持つ問題点について「集合的記憶」と「歴史」の視点から分析・考察を行った内容の論文を『月刊考古学ジャーナル』において発表した他、地域住民の地域学習用に作成された冊子『のと地域学』においては本研究内容に関する総説的な論文を発表した。さらに、国内外の学会や研究会において研究発表を行い、特にRoyal Anthropological Instituteの学会(RAI2018)においては、主に欧米研究者・博物館関係者に対し、日本のコミュニティ・ミュージアムの現状について情報提供するとともに、民俗資料コレクションが地域社会に対して持つ意味や機能について議論を行った。
