项目摘要

令和3年（2021年）に日本のイマージョン教育実践校で行った予備調査を経て、令和4年（2022年）には、研究校を選定し、研究校において、3期間に渡って本調査を実施した。研究期間の第1期（5月）には本研究に関する事前打ち合わせ、第2期（6月－7月）には研究データの収集を行うための参与観察、第3期（11月－1月）には、研究データの収集を中心に研究を進めた。第3期には、研究対象となる3教科（社会・音楽・日本語）の授業観察と映像データの録画、教員４名へのインタビュー調査を行った。また、研究参加者の教員にオンラインでインタビューを行い、追加データの収集も行った。また、令和４年には海外においても研究を行った。8月には、日本CLIL教育学会主催の研修に参加し、他の日本人研究者と共に、CLILとバイリンガル教育研究が盛んなフィンランド共和国・セイナヨキ市に滞在した。約２週間の滞在期間中は、セイナヨキ市のバイリンガル実践校３校を訪問し、授業観察やインタビュー等の現地調査を行った。現地での小・中・高校のCLIL授業の視察、行政職員、教師へのインタビューを通して、欧州におけるCLILとバイリンガル教育に対する理解を深めた。また、フィンランド人研究者であるユバスキュラ大学のTarja Nikula教授やDavid Marsh氏と研究交流を行い、現地で行われている最新の研究手法とフィンランドにおける行政－研究者－教育実践者の連携の在り方について学んだ。このように、採用１年目は、日本のバイリンガル実践校における授業観察の映像データの収集・インタビューデータの収集と日本・欧州にけるバイリンガル教育の理解に専念した。次年度には、前年度の研究から得られた成果を、学会及びジャーナルで発表し、日本国内と海外に向けて積極的にアウトプットしていくことを目標としている。
