Method of envoking emotions using reflection-based pseudo-body responses

本研究旨在通过使用VR技术呈现感官刺激的组合来唤起多种情绪。 基于心理学知识，特别是自我知觉理论，我们假设，提供各种假生理反应的背景下，可以诱发更多的情绪作为预期的数量比使用的假生理反应的数量。本研究主要探讨面部表情、心跳、体温、胸压与七情之间的关系。 基于这一假设，我们实现了几个系统来调节用户的身体反应，并表明这些系统可以影响情绪状态。

This study aims to evoke multiple emotions by presenting combinations of sensory stimulus using VR technologies. Based on the psychological knowledge, especially self-perception theory, we hypothesize that providing a variety of pseudo-physiological responses with contexts can be evoked a greater number of emotions as intended than the number of pseudo-physiological responses used. In this study, we focused on the relationship among facial expression, heartbeat, vital warmth, chest pressure and seven emotions. We implemented several systems to modulate user's bodily responses based on this hypothesis, and showed that these systems could influence the emotional states.
