Study on the Self-sufficiency Rate Improvement by Costs Reduction and Non-standard Products Reduction in the Fruit and Vegetables

In this study, we studied possibility of the marketing costs reduction and the non-standard products waste reduction in the fruit and vegetables, that used the market survey of domestic and overseas, and did the non-classification timed discount sale. The result of the consumer survey in the fruit and vegetables purchase, that should increase the farmers' direct sales more in urban areas. Because the consumers most important criterions are freshness, safety and security-oriented, so there is a space for the non-standard products sale of fruit and vegetables in the farmers' direct sales. The result of the non-classification timed discount sale for two years from 2012, the products of fruit and vegetables can sold at suitable price by non-packaging, non-classification. These results are believed to lead for reinforcement of the international competitiveness by low-cost sales in the costs reduction of the selecting and packing.
