1. Edition of scientific and technical terms,Technical terms classified into 26 fields Were accumulated, analyzed and edited.2. Statistical analysis of technical termsThe following importantresults were found.1)The average number of words consisting of terms is close to two,i.e. 1.851. This is characteristic of technical terms and important for the application of the multilingual thesauri.2)Most terms are used in a single field as expected, but the percentage of those terms is not so high as the total occurrence.3.Multilingual access systemRead-only compact disks have large capacity and are convenient for use with personal computers. English-Japanese-German-French-Russian- Spanish-Chinese-Duch eight-way thesaurus was stored on a read-only compact disk and operated by personal computers.

1、科技术语整理，对26个领域的科技术语进行了积累、分析和编辑。2．对技术术语的统计分析发现了以下重要结果：1）术语组成的平均单词数接近2个，即1.851。这是技术术语的特点，对于多语言叙词表的应用很重要。2）正如预期，大多数术语都在单一领域使用，但这些术语所占的比例并不像总出现率那么高。3.多语言访问系统只读光盘容量大，方便在个人计算机上使用。英-日-德-法-俄-西-中-德八种词库存储在只读光盘上并由个人计算机操作。
