女性労働やライフコース研究では、出産育児と職業の両立困難が日本の女性のキャリア発達を阻害し、指導的地位における女性割合を停滞させる要因であることが繰り返し指摘されてきた。また当事者である女性は、大学生期から出産育児期までの成人前期を通して、職業継続と出産育児の両立に不安と困難を感じている。しかしキャリア教育では、成人前期女性を対象とした、出産育児期の職業継続を目標とするプログラムは確立しておらず、キャリア教育の欠落点となっている。本研究はこれらの課題解決として、成人前期、すなわち大学～初期キャリア～出産育児期の女性を対象とする、職業継続への不安・困難観を解消し、出産育児期の職業継続を目標とする、教育の在り方を検討し、高等教育及び社会教育での実施を前提とするプログラムを開発する。それにより、キャリア教育領域の発展拡張に貢献するとともに、本格的な職業キャリアの入り口に立つ大学生期からライフイベントを迎える出産育児期までの、トータルな支援の拡充に資することを目指す。本年は、全国の女性関連施設を対象に質問紙による悉皆調査を実施し、成人前期女性を対象とするキャリア教育の実態と出産育児期のキャリア発達に焦点を当てた先進事例抽出の資料収集を行った。大学における女性のキャリア教育に関する資料収集を行った。2023年度は、①女性関連施設に質問紙調査結果を対象・目的・テーマ別に分類し、社会教育段階で実施されている成人前期女性を対象とするキャリア教育の実態をあきらかにする。②全国の大学に質問紙調査を実施、プログラムを収集し、高等教育で実施されている成人前期女性を対象とするキャリア教育の実態を把握する。
