本研究の目的は、アクターネットワーク理論に基づき、音楽授業においていかなるネットワークが形成されているのかを分析、解明することである。アクターネットワーク理論を応用し、人間と非人間（モノ）の関係を視点として音楽授業を分析する方法を検討した際、学校における音楽活動として音楽クラブで形成されるネットワークと比較することによって、音楽授業のネットワークの特徴がより鮮明になると考え、2022年度の調査対象に音楽クラブも加えることとした。調査は、所属大学における研究倫理審査の承認を経て行った。小学校4年生の音楽授業と小学校4年生から6年生で構成される音楽クラブを対象として、それぞれ観察、アンケート調査、インタビュー調査を実施した。これらの調査を通して、教員や児童といった人間の関係性のみならず、楽曲、楽譜、楽器などのモノ（非人間）を含めたネットワークを考察するためのデータを収集した。音楽授業では主として合唱、合奏、鑑賞の場面を、音楽クラブでは合唱と合奏の場面を観察した。アンケート調査は、音楽授業と音楽クラブのそれぞれに特有の質問を設定しつつ、双方に共通の質問も設定した。さらに、音楽授業および音楽クラブを担当する教員には半構造化インタビューを実施した。児童へのインタビューについては、観察やアンケート調査を通してより具体的な情報が必要になった場合に行った。以上の調査と分析の結果は、2023年度に学会あるいは論文で発表する予定である。
