项目摘要

本研究の目的は、友人関係上のトラブルを抱える生徒への生徒指導について、①教師は傍観的生徒指導という技法をどのように実践しているのか、②教師は介入的生徒指導と傍観的生徒指導をどのように切り替えているのか、③そして、教師同士の話し合い(教師間相互行為)は、傍観的生徒指導という技法の実践と、介入的生徒指導と傍観的生徒指導との切り替えに対して、それぞれどのような影響を及ぼしているのか、という3点を、学校でのビデオ録画を伴う参与観察調査と、教師対象インタビュー調査という複数の質的調査から明らかにすることである。本研究の意義として、上述の①・②には傍観的生徒指導という実践の実証的な解明による生徒指導研究への新たな視点の構築、③には生徒間相互行為、教師‐生徒間相互行為、教師間相互行為の関連構造の解明による学校組織‐教育行為の構造に関する総合的な見取り図の設定、という2点にあると想定している。 2021年度には新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響を受けて、中核となる参与観察調査を実施できず、次年度実施に後ろ倒しとしたが、2022年度も引き続き新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響があったため、当初の研究目的の達成を目指し、参与観察に代替しうる質的調査方法を丹念に検討し、事例のテキスト資料の収集を実施した上で、さらにインタビュー調査を行うという方法に切り替えた。特に生徒指導を行う教師を「社会問題ワーカー」として見立てることで得られた示唆を整理し、学会で発表した。
