本研究課題では、通常のスポーツより身体運動によるノイズの影響が小さいesportsを対象に、集団競技における生理状態（心電図・呼吸・脳波・眼球運動等）と、チームパフォーマンスの関係を調べることによって、集団の生理状態がチームパフォーマンスへ与える影響のメカニズムを解明することを目的としている。今年度は、チームesportsの代表的なタイトルであるLeague of Legendsを対象にした実験環境を構築し、実際にデータの計測を行った。実験では、5名の1チームに対して、心電図・脳波の計測を行い、esports対戦中の生理状態およびチームパフォーマンスを測定した。現在、今後の追加データ収集に向けて、詳細なデータ解析を行っている。また前段階の実験として、個人同士のesports対戦を対象とした2種類の実験を実施した。第一に、競合関係において生理的同期が起こる要因の推定のための実験を行い、対戦目的の制限（体力が変動しないため勝敗がつかない）によって生理的同期が起こりづらくなることがわかった。第二に、パフォーマンスに関連する脳活動を特定するため、脳波計測を行っている状態で繰り返し対戦を行い、特定の脳活動が試合の勝敗に関連することがわかった。これらの実験で得られた知見は、今後のチームesportsにおける研究に活用できると考えられる。現在、それらの結果をまとめて、国際学術雑誌への投稿準備を行っている。今後は、解析結果を基に、チームesportsにおける生理状態（生理的同期）とチームパフォーマンスの関係について追加データを収集する予定である。また、これまで得られた結果をまとめて、国際学術雑誌への投稿を行う予定である。
