申請者が継続的に研究を行ってきた、ベトナムの独自性を、周辺諸国における建築設計技術との比較研究により、共通点・相違点の分布傾向を導出するとともに、近年、学際的に進められている交易ネットワークによる、人・もの・文化の伝播・受容の研究と合わせ、ベトナムが他の地域との交流を通じて、如何にして建築設計技術を受容し、あるいは取捨選択していったかを解明することが本研究の目標である。建築は、思想・論理によって体系的に扱われるだけでなく、記録による管理・統制、実用に則した技能・知識・情報の共有などが、時代・地域・国家体制の別により、様々に行われるものであり、実際に建設される建造物は、気候風土や、それに応じた材料の入手の難易、快適に過ごすための工夫などにより、取捨選択がなされるため、これらを、周辺諸国における建築設計技術との比較研究により、共通点・相違点の分布傾向を導出するとともに、近年、学際的に進められている交易ネットワークによる、人・もの・文化の伝播・受容の研究と合わせることによりベトナムが他の地域との交流を通じて、如何にして建築設計技術を受容し、あるいは取捨選択していったかを解明することが重要であるが、世界規模のコロナ禍により、当該研究期間を含む、ここ数年は、海外への渡航が叶わなかった。今年度は、本研究課題に関連するベトナム現地での研究動向を調査するとともに、申請者が、研究分担者として参画している、科研費・基盤研究（B）「観光化が進む世界遺産の歴史的都心における住環境の変化と課題の考察」（研究代表者：吉良森子）における、ベトナム・フエの「歴史的都心(historic urban center)」として、観光の発展に伴う住環境の変化に関する調査を行ったことで、本研究課題が、現代社会に供与できる影響について再考した。
