近年、発生や刺激に伴う細胞状態の変化を1細胞遺伝子発現解析によってモデル化することで、細胞状態の推移の進捗度合いを計算する擬時間解析が行われている。擬時間を推定した次のステップとして、細胞運命が分岐した細胞種間で異なる発現パターンを示す遺伝子の抽出をしたいというニーズがある。ここで、擬時間を計算するアルゴリズムは多数発表されている一方、擬時間ベースで発現変動遺伝子を抽出するアルゴリズムは限られていた。本研究の目的は、フーリエ変換を用いた擬時間ベースの発現変動遺伝子検出アルゴリズムを開発である。擬時間軸における発現変動遺伝子検出アルゴリズムの開発のために以下の研究を行った。(1) アルゴリズムの実装と高速化を行った。並列化やメモリ管理の最適化によって市販のコンピューターで解析できるレベルのスピードを達成した。(2) シミュレーションデータを用いて性能比較を行った。今後、別のシナリオでの比較も行う必要はあるものの、今回比較した多くの条件で既存手法をアウトパフォームした。
