【背景】終末期がん患者の入浴（本研究での入浴は、浴槽に浸かる行為とする）は、痛みや倦怠感等の身体的症状緩和や、気分を高揚させる可能性が報告されてきたが、その身体的・精神的症状緩和の有効性は検証されていない。【目的】終末期がん患者の入浴が、身体的・精神的症状を緩和する効果について、入浴日と非入浴日とで患者の主観的症状のスケール（0-10段階）を比較する前向き観察研究を多施設共同研究により評価する。【方法】6施設の終末期がん患者150名を対象に、入浴日の入浴後と観察期間5日間中の午前と午後に患者の主観的症状をスケール（0-10段階）により測定を実施し、入浴日と非入浴日とを比較することで、入浴による終末期がん患者の主観的な身体的・精神的症状の変化を測定し、症状緩和の効果を検証する。入浴が終末期がん患者の症状緩和に有効であることをデータとして示し、看護ケアへの取り入れを考慮する際の参考情報として提供する。本研究で明らかにすることは、終末期がん患者の入浴に関して、①測定項目の症状改善の割合、②症状改善の関連要因、③症状改善が持続した割合とその関連要因について、統計的解析として基礎情報と症状改善効果を多変量解析により関連する要因を明らかにする。本研究の年次別計画を以下に示す。【研究実施計画】2021年研究計画書を作成し、倫理審査で承認を得て、研究施設にリクルートした。2022年データ収集・分析予定で進めている。

[Background] In the terminal stage, patients 'bathing behavior (bathing behavior and bath immersion behavior in this study), pain, fatigue, and other physical symptoms were relieved, and the likelihood of increased depression was reported. [Objective] To compare the results of bathing, physical and mental symptoms alleviation, bathing days and non-bathing days, and the main symptoms of patients (0-10 levels) at the end of the study. [Methods] 150 patients were selected at the end of the 6-day treatment period. The symptoms of the patients were measured in the morning and afternoon of the 5-day treatment period. The symptoms of the patients were measured at the end of the 6-day treatment period. The patient's symptoms at the end of the bath were relieved. This study was conducted to clarify the relationship between bathing and the end of the study,(1) the association between symptom improvement of measurement items,(2) the related factors of symptom improvement,(3) the related factors of symptom improvement,(4) statistical analysis, and (5) the relationship between basic information and symptom improvement.
