本研究の目的は、戦後体育行政の形成過程を歴史学の手法を用いて明らかにすることであり、2022年度は1958年の文部省体育局設置の政策形成過程について検討することを研究計画としていた。本年度の実績は、次のとおりである。まず、2021年度に新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大の影響により実施できなかった資料調査を実施した。日本スポーツ協会の資料室や日本体育大学図書館等を訪問し、日本体育協会やスポーツ振興会議に関する資料等を調査、収集した。次に、それらの史資料を、2021年度に検討した分析枠組みを踏まえて分析するとともに、関係する資料にて補完しながら、1955年の厚生省スポーツ局構想の頓挫について検討した。その成果は原著論文として学会誌に掲載された。また、同様に1958年の文部省体育局設置の政策形成過程についても分析を進めた。ただし、現時点では成果としての公表に至っていないため、次年度への課題となっている。さらに、2023年の研究計画であるスポーツ振興法の政策形成過程についても若干の進展があった。所有していた史資料をもとに、同法の名称及び位置づけの形成過程について分析した。その成果は原著論文として学会誌に掲載された。ただし、同法の政策形成過程のほんの一部を分析したに過ぎないため、次年度に引き続き分析を進めたい。以上のとおり、本年度は、概ね研究計画どおりの研究実績となり、一部は次年度の計画も遂行できている状況になる。ただし、一部は課題として残すこととなった。

The purpose of this study is to examine the process of the formation of sports administration in the years 2022 to 1958, and to explore the research plan of the policy formation of the Sports Bureau of the Ministry of Education.
