本年度は、ノンパラメトリックな所得効果を許した離散選択需要の実証モデルを構築した。本モデルは需要関数の曲率（二階微分）を柔軟に推定することができ、寡占市場における価格設定や政策分析において有用なものである。本モデルの推定に際しては、計量経済学の分野で開発された形状制約のシーブ近似法を、実証産業組織論におけるBerry, Levinsohn, and Pakes (1995)のアルゴリズムに導入した。本手法に関する数値実験（モンテカルロ実験）を行った結果、形状制約を導入することが推定のパフォーマンス（精度）を大きく改善することについても判明した。その上で、本フレームワークを日本の自動車市場に適用し、様々な政策シミュレーション（エコカー補助金のパススルー分析及び仮想的な企業合併シミュレーション）を行った。我々のモデルは、単純なロジットモデルよりも高いパススルー率とより大きな合併効果を予測した。研究の進捗については、Asian Meeting Econometric Society Shangzheng (virtual)　及びEconometric Society Australia meeting (virtual)にて発表を行った。また、本研究を論文としてまとめ、ワーキングペーパーとして公開した。現在、国際査読誌に投稿中である。どうじに、パソコン市場のデータについても取得し、データクリーニングを進めるとともに、今回考案した手法を適用した分析を行う予定である。

This year, a real-life demonstration model for discrete selection needs was built to achieve the results achieved by using LAN ー. The curvature (second derivative) of this requirement is soft and useful for estimation, oligopolistic market setting and policy analysis. This paper introduces the concept of shape restriction in the field of econometrics, Berry, Levinsohn, and Pakes (1995).
