本研究は、「総合的な学習/探求の時間」における探究的な学習過程に着目した学校段階を縦断するルーブリックを開発することを目的としている。開始1年目の本年にはおいては、「総合学習において、各学校段階で身に付けさせる資質能力をどのように整理するのか？」という研究課題のもと、「総合的な学習/探求の時間」で習得すべき能力や到達目標について、学習指導要領のテキスト分析によって、各学校段階の特徴を浮き彫りにすることを試みた。特に、探究的な学習過程の4つのプロセス（「①課題の設定→②情報の収集→③整理・分析→④まとめ」）に着目することで、小・中・高の学習成果を体系的に整理できる枠組みとした。各学校段階で習得すべき能力を段階的に整理した上で記述することで、小・中・高の積み上げの学習モデルを提示することができるわけであるが、各学校に任されている独自性を比較するための枠組みを改めて検討する必要性がでてきた。「総合的な学習/探求の時間」のテーマ選定は各学校によってなされることとなり、いくつかの学習モデルを想定しながらその積み上げを記述する必要があるからである。しかしながら、そのテーマ選定によって、大きく学習成果が異なる形は理想ではないため、身に付けるべき能力とそのための教育プログラム（授業事例）をどのように整理していくことができるのかが今後の大きな課題となっている。そのために次年度では改めて学習指導要領のテキスト分析及び到達目標の整理が必要となる。
