本研究では、類似した状況を抱えつつもその比較が十分行われてこなかった日本と韓国の事例をとおしてそれぞれの大学教員準備プログラムを批判的に再検討することを目指している。そのような目標にしたがって、研究の初年度である令和4年度は、主として次の作業を行った。まず、日本の事例であるA大学の大学教員準備プログラムに対して参与観察を行い、データを収集した。また、効果測定のためのアンケート調査票を作成し、その修正と改善に取り掛かっている。次に、次年度に実施する韓国の調査準備を開始した。韓国CTL協議会が主催する研修プログラムおよびセミナーの参加をとおしてネットワーキングを行い、韓国の大学関係者と数次にわたり意見交換を行った。今後の比較分析をするための基礎として、日本の事例分析および海外調査の準備は欠かせない作業であり、コロナ禍の状況下、海外調査に制約はあったものの、オンライン会議を活用することで大きな滞りなく実施することができた。
