项目摘要

本研究は、11歳～15歳までの自閉スペクトラム症(Autism Spectrum Disorders; ASD)児を対象とし、ASD児の読解の困難さについて、意味の統合の弱さという観点から探るものである。文章読解にはさまざまな側面があるが、文章読解につながる単文の理解過程について、生理指標ならびに行動指標を用いて、意味統合の観点から探ることを目的とする。加えて、ASD児の意味統合の特性に合わせた学習・生活支援の方法も提起する。定型発達(Typically Developing；TD)児を対照群とし、神経基盤の特徴と行動特性の関連や、ASD群とTD群との比較からASD児の特徴を明らかにする。現在、ASD児の早期発見・早期支援の研究は盛んに行われている。しかし、ライフステージの中で、学習内容や人間関係が複雑化する11歳～15歳における研究の報告は少ない。本研究は、学習や学校生活等で困難を抱えるASD児の支援の一助となることを目指し、学習や就労上で必要となる読解力につながる単文の理解過程に焦点を絞り研究を行う。本研究は４カ年計画であり、令和４年度は、実験課題の精査や実施予定の実験課題作成を進めた。使用予定の実験課題である「文完成課題」について、Booth and Happe (2010)を参考に作成を進めた。Booth and Happe (2010)では、「文完成課題」を局所的な情報処理バイアスを捉えることができる有用なテストであると結論付けており、ASD児の意味統合の特徴を捉えることが期待できる。英語と日本語の特徴が異なることから、大学生を対象とした予備実験を通して、実験課題のさらなる精査が必要である。
