2022年度は本研究の試料となるご検体の静脈収集を80肢行った。また静脈弁のエコー評価を静脈瘤肢において70肢行った。健常肢の静脈弁エコー評価は10肢で行った。静脈瘤肢、健常肢における静脈弁の観察は大腿静脈、大伏在静脈で良好に観察可能背ある事が判明した。ご検体の静脈の収集数は目標の8割に達し、静脈瘤肢は目標の7割、健常肢は1割達成されている。課題１『腸骨静脈・総大腿静脈の静脈弁の存在率』を明らかにするために今後残り20肢をのご遺体の静脈を収取するとともに、収集した静脈の静脈弁の観察を行う方針である。今後ご検体から収集した静脈の弁を観察し、エコーでの静脈弁の数と検体で実際に存在する弁の数に差があるか否かを評価する方針である。課題２『一尖弁と二尖弁、三尖弁で静脈弁の機能』を明らかにするために課題１の観察後の弁を使用して調査を行う方針である。題３『超音波による静脈弁数の確認と、下肢静脈瘤の患者と健常者で腸骨静脈・総大腿静脈の静脈弁の存在率』を明らかにするために、静脈瘤肢は今後30肢、健常肢は90肢の観察を継続していく。現在のところ外腸骨静脈の静脈弁の観察は体形の影響を強く受けることが判明しエコーでの評価は困難であると判断している。静脈瘤肢の大腿静脈および大伏在静脈の静脈弁に関しては大腿静脈で平均約0.2個、大伏在静脈で約1.4個観察されている。やや健常肢の静脈弁の観察が送れているが、今年度中に目標数を達成する予定である。
