令和4年度は、閉経前乳がん患者が術後補助療法であるホルモン療法（内分泌療法）によって体験している症状について調査し、症状同士の関連性や症状クラスターを検討するための準備段階として、具体的な対象者条件・調査実施方法・調査を行う期間などを決定する計画であった。そのために、乳がん患者に関する研究や症状クラスター研究に経験豊かな研究者とWeb会議を重ね、調査で使用する尺度やデータ分析方法を検討した。閉経前乳がん患者がホルモン療法を開始することによって体験することが報告されている更年期症状を評価する既存の尺度項目を中心に、症状ごとの強度を測定するための症状リストを決定した。更年期症状と特に関連の深い症状を詳細に評価できるよう、抑うつ、睡眠障害、倦怠感を評価する既存の尺度をそれぞれ決定した。統計学的に必要とする症例数を算出し、対象者数確保のため医療機関による調査とリサーチ会社によるWeb調査を併用することとした。調査を行う医療機関の診療科教授に研究協力を依頼し、了承を得た。看護部に研究協力を依頼し、がん看護に携わる認定看護師を含む研究協力者が選出された。研究協力者間で、再度調査内容の検討を行った。また、リサーチ会社数社において調査実施について検討を重ね、調査を行うリサーチ会社を決定し、倫理審査における承認が得られ次第、調査の外部委託契約を締結する予定となった。所属機関における倫理審査を申請し、承認を得た。調査機関における研究実施について申請中である。
