本研究の目的は、高等学校における性教育の実態を明らかにし、養護教諭と生徒が活用できる性感染症予防のデジタルコンテンツ(動画)を作成することである。今年度は、学校教育における性教育の位置づけ、教育内容、指導の現状把握し、教育に導入するための課題、今後必要とされる内容、教育上の困難な要因を明らかにするため、文献検討を行い明確化した。これをHealthに「A Literature Review on the State of High SchoolSex Education Implemented by School Nurses」で投稿した。その結果、養護教諭は、性教育を保健体育・家庭科等の複数の教科と教員で実施しており、他の教員と教える内容に違いがあり、健康・保健のスペシャリストとして、性教育に対する高い意識や積極的な姿勢をもっていた。また、性教育において中心的役割を担っていが、学校保健計画での位置付けられてないこと、教員間の意識の差異、業務が多忙、時間の確保が難しい、教員間の連携が進まないことに困難感をもっており、体系化され継続できる教科として、学校全体での方針の検討が必須である。さらに、性に関して個別指導を請け負う機会が多いにもかかわらず、対応に自信がなく不安を持っていることから、養護教諭自身の指導力を研鑽する機会と指導するための教材の開発が必要不可欠であることが示唆された。これをもとに、質問紙を作成し、研究倫理申請を行い承認が得られた後、A県立学校養護教諭連盟会、B市養護教諭研究会に依頼、許可を頂きデータ収集を開始している。今後は、引き続きデータ収集を行い、集計後に分析を行った後にデジタルコンテンツの作成に着手する予定である。
