项目摘要

本研究課題では、幼児期3年間の運動能力の追跡調査を実施し、コオーディネーション能力の発達に 1）直接的に影響を及ぼすと考えられるエネルギー系の運動能力の発達や子どもの運動・遊び習慣との関係性を明らかにすること、2）間接的に影響を及ぼすと考えられる子どもの生活習慣や保護者の運動嗜好との関係性を明らかにすることを目的とする。令和4年度は、追跡調査の1年目として、年少児273名を対象にコオーディネーション能力テスト（以下CaT）及び体力・運動能力測定の計16項目を実施した。また、対象の保護者にアンケート調査を実施した。これらの成果は、主に学会発表で報告した。第1に、「年少児の体力・運動能力の発達的特性―エネルギー系の運動能力とコオーディネーション能力に着目して―」としてポスター発表を行った。この研究では、幼児の運動発達の実態を多角的に捉えるために、各測定項目の特徴及びテスト間の関連性を検討した。この結果として、3歳、3.5歳、4歳と月齢が上がるにつれて能力間の関連が高まり年少児の体力・運動能力の発達的特性として部分的な発達から徐々に全面的な発達へと移行していくことが示唆された。第2に、「年少児の投・跳動作における定位能力・分化能力の発達とその関連要因―運動・遊び習慣、課題別運動能力、言語理解・言語活動に着目して―」として口頭発表を行った。コオーディネーション能力の発達に影響を及ぼす様々な関連要因を検討した結果、運動・遊び習慣との関連は、3歳までの高頻度な運動習慣や外での運動遊び、課題別運動能力との関連は、両足連続跳びが10回以上連続してできる、言語理解・言語活動との関連は、関連のない3つの指示に対して1回で理解してできる、絵本を毎日、週合計60分以上読む、保護者や先生の話を最後まで聞くことができる幼児の方が、コオーディネーション能力が高い傾向がみられた。
