Improving the international travel experience in the time of COVID-19

The research ethics protocols and project questionnaires have been prepared and are currently under review by the research ethics committee. The protocol has been adapted in view of the recent travel restriction policy changes, namely the relaxation of measures and lack of need for quarantine. Rather than a prospective study of international travel, a retrospective study will be undertaken, with no change to the original aim and objectives. The protocol was submitted to the Nagasaki University School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health (TMGH) research ethics committee in April 2023 and the response is awaited.
