项目摘要

○研究目的 : 本研究は幼児の造形活動と発話の関係に関する研究である。すなわち、幼児が自ら製作した造形作品や造形活動について、その思いを聞き取る活動を通じて、子どもと保育者の作品を通じての対話が子どもの発話を促し、子どもの言葉の育ちを促うえで有効であることを検証する。本研究により幼児の造形活動と発話や言葉の育ちとの関係や造形活動が幼児の内面的成長に果たす役割、発話を促す支援のあり方を具体的に明らかにすることを目的とする。○研究方法 :①個人および集団の造形活動(「スカイツリーをつくろう」の実践)と聞き取り「スカイツリーをつくろう」の造形活動の実践において、幼児がどんなことを感じ、イメージし、楽しんでいるかを観察し、作品に関する発話を記録する。②造形活動の方法論の分析①の記録により、どのような環境構成と題材設定が有効か分析する。③先進研究園・校を視察し、対話や聞き取りの方法論を明らかにする。④「スカイツリーをつくろう」の実践について大学教員との共同研究を進め、論文(題名「子どもの造形活動と発話に関する研究―発話の記録と共有―」をまとめ本年度の『山形大学教職・教育実践』に投稿する。○研究成果 :作品の集団製作の過程において、子ども達の発話をホワイトボードに記録し、子ども達がそのイメージを共有することが造形活動に対する思考やイメージを膨らませ、さらなる発話を促すとともに、造形活動を促進させることが明らかになった。また、子どもの興味に即して製作活動の展開を臨機に応変することが、子どもの意欲を引き出し、製作活動の展開を促すうえで有効だった。子どものイメージに刺激になる環境や題材を考慮し、子どもの興味に沿った題材を設定することが最も有効だった。
