1 研究目的本研究では、高等学校化学基礎で扱われる「酸と塩基の中和」の概念に対する高校生の直感的知識の実態を明らかにすることを目的とした。また、調査により得られた直観的知識を基に、新たな授業モデルを構想し、「酸と塩基の中和」の概念に対する高校生の理解深化の諸相を探った。2 研究方法高等学校化学における「酸と塩基の中和」の概念の実態を把握するため、勤務校の1学年2クラス(計74名)において、酸と塩基の中和の概念に関する記述式調査を実施した。調査結果を元に生徒を抽出し、Taber(2009)の半構造化インタビューを元に直観的知識を質的に調査した。また、得られた直観的知識の内容を質的に分析し, それを基に授業を構成, 実践した。記述式調査およびインタビュー調査は, 平成29年10月に行った。3 研究成果記述式調査め結果から、酸と塩基の中和の概念に対して生徒が直観的知識を用いて理解している可能性がある記述を抽出、その表現を用いて記述をした生徒4名に対して, Taber(2009)の半構造化インタビューを実施した。インタビューの結果、「±0になる」、「バランスをとる」、「無害になる」という要素を生徒が酸と塩基の中和の概念の理解に用いている直観的知識として定めた。これらの直観的知識をクラス全体で共有したのち、酸と塩基の中和の実験を行い、実験後に酸と塩基の中和の概念理解に関する記述式調査を行った。その結果、上記の直観的知識を用いた記述を行う生徒が本活動を実施する前よりも顕著に増加していることが確かめられた。また、質問紙調査の結果から、共有した直観的知識を用いて酸と塩基の中和の概念について理解することに対し、理解しやすい、と答えた生徒が約半数いることが確かめられた。これらの結果から、本研究における新たな教授方略の有効性については一定の効果が示されたが、直観的知識の有用性を実感していない生徒に対しての対応が重要であることが示唆された。
