项目摘要

1. 研究目的新学習指導要領の考え方を具現化した授業の実現に向け、(1)単元のゴールや場面・状況を明確にした課題・言語活動(タスク)の設定(2)児童の必要に応じたタイミングでのモデル提示(3)見通しをもたせるための児童との共同による単元計画の作成、という主に3点を工夫した実践を行い、その効果を検証した。2. 研究方法上記3点の手だてを授業に取り入れ、6年児童を対象に実践をした。ふりかえりのワークシートを使って児童の意識の変容を分析した。授業中の児童の発話を録音し、児童の気づきや変容を分析した。3. 研究成果(1)単元のゴールをトピックや指導する言語材料に加え、子どもの実態や教師の願いに基き設定した。日本の紹介をする単元では、単元構成をアレンジし、「新任の先生に附属小学校を紹介しよう」というゴールを設定した。これにより、子どもの相手意識・目的意識が高まり主体的に学習に取り組む姿が見られた。(2)伝えたい内容を決めキーワードをマッピングした。それをもとに、まずは英語で言ってみるという時間を設けた。「単語は言えるけれど、文章では言えない」「文章で言えるようになりたい」と児童が英語表現を知る必要があるタイミングで文構造のモデルを示した。その結果、適切な英語表現に気付き、活用できる児童の姿が見られた。(3)児童と共同で学習計画を決めることで、児童は見通しをもって学習に取り組むことができた。たとえその時間にできないことがあっても、次の時間にもう一度やってみようと意欲をもち続けることができた。また、子どもが自ら1時間ごとの学習のめあてを立てることができた。これらの結果から、タスクを取り入れた授業は新学習指導要領の考え方が具現化されるのに有効であったと考えられる。
