项目摘要

理科の授業は直接体験を基本とするが、直接体験ができない素材がある。ICT環境の整備により、多くの教材がWEB上にあるが、身近な自然の映像コンテンツの不足は否めない。そこで、静止画や動画のデジタル教材を開発し、授業の場面で視聴する場を位置づけた。(1)観察・実験が困難で、動画や静止画が必要であると考えられる学習場面を洗い出した。(2)身近な自然を対象にし、より鮮明な映像でデジタル教材を制作した。(3)開発した映像コンテンツをWEB上に掲載した。(4)実際の授業で開発したデジタル教材を授業で活用して、授業を受けた児童・生徒にアンケートを行い、デジタル教材の有効性について分析した。(5)学習者が授業だけではなく、家庭でも映像コンテンツを視聴して学習に生かす方策を模索した。子どもの意識に適した静止画や動画や身近な地域の静止画や動画のデジタルコンテンツを視聴することで子ども達の自然への関心が更に高まり学習効果があがった。静止画のデジタル教材は、印刷物で大きく引き伸ばして提示すると効果があがり、動画のデジタル教材では、音があり、変化のある現象を提示すると効果があがることが分かった。学習で活用したデジタル教材は、授業で見るだけではなく、家庭学習で復習として視聴できるようにインターネット上に掲載した。不登校児童生徒が学習するのにも大変効果があった。授業では、直接体験できるものはデジタル教材で視聴するのではなく、観察・実験を実際にすると学習効果があがるが、不登校児童生徒にとっては、教科書で観察・実験をすることになっている教材のデジタル教材があると、家庭においても学習することができる。今後、学習者の実態に適したデジタル教材の開発を考えていきたい。
