1.生徒が抱く保健室のイメージ子どもたちが保健室へ抱くイメージはおおむね良好ではあるが、「心や体の悩み」を十分に相談できずにいる事実もあることがアンケートにより明らかになり、より生徒理解の必要を感じた。2.教育相談活動と健康相談活動の違い「健康相談活動」は保健室の重要な機能の一つであり、「教育相談」とはちがった役割を担っていると考えている。そのため、この研究において二つの「相談機能」の差別化をはかり、より「健康相談活動」の内容の明確化をはかりたいと考えたが、「教育相談」の一部分に「健康相談活動」を位置付けることがより実態に合っていると考える。3.健康相談活動の自己研修方法養護教諭は、ほとんどが一人で保健室の執務に携わる。ただ、「健康相談活動」の分野は、一人では執務を遂行できない場合が多い。子どもの相談に関わる問題の解決については、子どもを取り巻く教師集団が「いかにしなやかに相互に関わり合っていくか」ということが、子どもと教師との関わりと同じくらい重要になってくる。したがって、対子ども、対教師との関係の中で随所に自己研修の要素がある。つまり、対教師、対子どもとの関わりの事実を詳細に記録し、ケース会議を持ち意見を交換していく中で資質を高めていくことが十分可能である。ケース会議を開催するにあたっては、教員はもちろんのこと「相談活動」の専門家にも意見をもらうようにし、より専門的な力量を高めていけるようにする。また、「関わり」と平行して記録をとっていくことはむずかしいため、「効果的な記録の方法」についてもこれから研究を深めていく。4.健康相談活動の課題とは個人情報の管理を慎重にした上で「健康相談活動」を「開かれた相談活動」にしていく必要がある。つまり「教育相談」の機能にうまく連動させていくことが、これからの「健康相談活動」に重要である。
