【具体的内容】幼稚園教師と保護者間による「子どもの発達の現状を見取り、そこから導き出されるそれ以後の指導方針を教師・保護者間で共有するためのシステム」を、従来からの取り組み(保育参観や懇談会、日々の降園時等の日常的な対話、親子で一緒に幼稚園で遊ぶ「親子ふれあいの日」、保育参観・懇談会後の保護者の感想文)を発展させる形で構築することを第一の目的とした。幼稚園教師と保護者間のズレは、幼稚園在園期間中のいつでも起こり得るため、このようなズレを何度もチェックできるような構造を基本とした。そして、このシステムが及ぼす(1)保護者の幼稚園・教師に対する信頼感の高まり(2)子どもの見取りに関する保護者・教師間の共有の深まり(3)家庭での保護者から子どもへのかかわり方の質の向上(4)教師の子どもの捉え方や支援の質の向上(5)子どもの自身の発達の促進(6)保護者・教師から見た連携の進展に関する効果を検証することを、本研究の第二の目的とした。構築したシステムは、(1)～(6)について効果を及ぼすことが確かめられ、かなりの程度まで機能したと言える。そして、構築したシステムを活用して実践することを通して、新たな課題と解決策も見えてきた。それらを実践することで、より効果的なシステムが確立されると同時に、その機能を教師が十分自覚した上で、システムの運用を円滑にすすめることを通して、より一層、家庭との連携が推進されると考える。【意義】本研究による取組が大きな負担を必要とするものではなく、かつ、効果を確かめられたため、本研究の成果は、神戸大学附属幼稚園だけにとどまらず、広く幼児教育の実践現場において活用することが可能である。【重要性】子育て支援の重要な目的は、「子どものよりよい育ちが実現する」ことである。従来の取組を改善し、相互を有機的につなげたシステムを構築することで、在園児の保護者に対する効果的な子育て支援につなげることができる。
