项目摘要

1「岐阜県博物館」において,小学校5年「流れる水のはたらき」の単元で児童の科学的思考・表現を高めるための学習プログラムを作成した。その特徴は次のとおりである。(1)博物館で安山岩の変化を学習(2)園芸用オアシススポンジを用いた実験(3)歩測を取り入れた川幅の計測(4)教科書掲載地点での観察(5)コドラート法の紹介(6)石に付いたアユのはみ跡の紹介(7)魚の視点で見る「アクアトトぎふ」見学2 児童をバスで「岐阜県博物館」に連れて行き,作成した学習プログラムを使って学習した。3 児童をバスで長良川や世界淡水魚水族園「アクアトトぎふ」に連れて行き,作成したプログラムを使って学習した。4 児童の記述を分析して,科学的思考・表現がどのように高まるかを検証した。また,研修内容を創意工夫ある説明,論述などの言語活動を基にした報告書を作成したりして,多様な児童の科学的思考力・表現力の高まりを検証した。オアシススポンジ実験では,「安山岩は何年ぐらいで小さくなるのか気になりました」と,時間的推移の中で思考する表記が見られた。また,「長良川新聞」では,川原の石のようすと川幅をまとめて1つの図に表現したり,観察と実験をつないだりした記述が見られた。5今回の研究から,博物館等の展示と現地学習とを結び付けることが有効であることが分かった。費用面での問題があるが,行政バス等を活用して,児童を博物館や現地へ連れ出したい。
