项目摘要

本研究では東南海など発生が予想されている次の大震災に備えて、被災地医療支援隊の薬品の携帯及び被災地での調剤に適した薬品ケースの形状を策定すること、更に、縦横に自由に接続固定出来ることにより被災地の臨時調剤施設が経時的に拡充できることを目的とした。実際に被災地に赴いた薬剤師からの聞き取り調査や報道される内容から、形状については日常的に業務で使用している薬品棚に近い物、つまり、普通通りの作業が被災地で行いやすい物が望まれた。また、拡張性については、強い余震のため倒れても安全であることが望まれた。更に、被災地の臨時診療施設が撤収されるときに、各地からの支援物資が廃棄物となり、かえって被災地の負担になったことが伝えられた。これらの問題点を満たす物として、全て紙製の組み立て式薬品棚を作成した。強度確保のため外枠をダンボール製とし、その中に組み立て式の小箱を収納する形状とした。この小箱も強度を確保するために、厚紙を2枚圧着した"合わせ紙"を用い、固定には両面テープ、ガムテープを用いるものである。1組の薬品棚に6マス×3列の18マスが存在し、5～6組を組み合わせれば約100品目の汎用薬を充填するのに十分である。また、全て折りたたんだ紙製のため、重量的にも容積的にも支援隊の荷物の負荷は少なく、臨時診療所撤収時にも、不要であれば焼却処分も可能であり、当初の目的を達成したものと考える。この作品に関して意匠登録を出願済みであり、実用新案の申請準備中である。
