1. 遺跡データベース既刊の調査報告書・市町村史等に基づいて、石川県の縄文時代遺跡のデータベースを作成した。遺跡データベースの対象としたものは遺構を検出した遺跡だけではなく、包含層出土資料や表採資料など縄文時代の遺構・遺物が確認できる遺跡とし、平成25年度末までの時点において把握可能であった530遺跡のデータを用いた。遺跡データベースの項目は、立地、標高、国土座標、時期(土器編年に基づいて細分)、遺構の有無と種類等である。石川県の縄文時代遺跡のデータベース作成により、当地域の縄文時代研究の基礎資料となったが、作成していくなかで用語等の統一や既刊の調査報告書・市町村史等の記載内容の再検討が必要な部分もあり、今後の課題としたい。2. GISを用いた分析遺跡のデータについては、GIS(地理情報システム)のソフトウェアを用いて、時期ごとの立地の特徴や傾向、遺跡密度の変化等を把握した。今回は基礎的な分析であったが、当地域の遺跡動態等を考えるうえで有意義な情報を得ることができた。
