のこぎりの重心を意識して切断作業を行うことによって、のこぎり挽きの技能の向上を目指した教材開発を行った。教材の概要は以下の通り。ライフソー両刃250(岡田金属)にプラスチック製の刃先カバーを装着し、首の部分に口開35mmのスプリングクランプ(TRUSCO)を取り付ける。スプリングクランプの取っ手に加速度センサプログラマー(ヴイストン株式会社)をねじ止めした5mm厚のシナベニヤ性アタッチメントをかぶせ、のこぎりの傾きに応じてLEDが点灯するようにプログラムを作成した。上記の教材を使用したのこぎり挽きの指導を平成26年11月に行った。対象生徒は第1学年200名であり、そのうち、172名に指導前後のアンケートを実施した。寸法と角度に関する正確さをある程度意識して作業している生徒が40%前後から80%を越えるようになった。また、切断後、部品検査をする生徒が22%から87%となった。そして、のこぎりを使って木材を正確に切断できると思う生徒は22%から69%に上昇した。両刃のこぎりの機能と操作方法への関心はそれぞれ、67%、64%から93%と83%に上昇した。公開授業を見学した参観者からは以下の意見をいただいた。・直感的にのこぎりの傾きを判断できて、楽しく切断の練習及び切断作業を行っていた。・情報の計測・制御の学習と関連して指導が可能である。・ある程度練習した後は外さないと、最後まで手元のLEDに注意が傾いてしまう。以上の結果より、本研究で開発した教材はのこぎり挽きの技能の習得及び道具への興味・関心を高めるために効果的であったと考えられる。

The center of gravity of this study is to cut off the operation of this study, and to guide the development of teaching materials. A summary of the teaching material is given below.
