研究対象は以前に調査した22チーム80名を再度対象にして施行した。今回は肩に加えて肘関節の解析にも重点を置いた。アンケート調査の結果、肘痛の既往がある者は38名、現在肘に痛みのある者は15名であった。肘の痛みがある群に偏って多いのは肘外反ストレス検査と内上顆、肘頭外側の圧痛であった。X線検査上、肘に異常を認めたは12名(15%)であり、その殆どは上腕骨内上顆下方の異常であった。投球動作解析は今回から肩回旋運動、肘運動に対してねじりゴニオメーターを応用することを試みた。試験的運用において、データの正確な採取にいくつかの改良を要する点が見つかり、現在、改良を加えて解析方法の信頼性向上に努めている。
