障害老人の離床・移動動作の介助レベルに対応したケアの基準化を目的に、一特別養護老人ホームにおいてタイムスタディを行った。方法は、1996年12月3日の9〜18時迄(9時間)に勤務するケアスタッフ延べ8名を対象に1分間スナップリーディング法を用いた。入居者51名の離床・移動レベルは、離床・移動自立:22名、離床介助・移動自立:9名、離床・移動要介助:20名であった。レベル別に受けた援助時間の平均は、離床・移動自立者14.6分、離床介助・移動自立者37.1分、離床・移動要介助者65.4分であり、全援助時間の約7割が離床・移動要介助者への援助に当てられていた。またケアスタッフの勤務時間をみると、45.1%が基本的介護、25.9%が家事的援助で占められていた。現在、業務の効率化と入居者の生活の質の向上に寄与するケア基準の作成に取り組んでいる。
