本年度は、(1)前年度に引き続き文献および史料の収集につとめる「文献・史料調査」、(2)調査の結果収集された文献および史料名などを、パソコンを用いてデータベースソフトに入力を行い、一括データ化をはかる史料のデータ化および「文献・文書目録」の刊行などを実施計画として掲げ、作業を進めた。まず、「文献調査」では、『県・市町村』の通史編・史(資)料編中の関連部分をコピーした後、まずファイルに綴じ整理し、収集できたものから順に、パソコンを用いて書名・発刊年・史料名・年代などをデータベースソフトに入力する作業を行った。「史料調査」では、徳川林政史研究所・東京大学史料編纂所・岐阜県歴史資料館・名古屋市博物館・名古屋市鶴舞中央図書館・西尾市立図書館岩瀬文庫などで調査を行い、研究補助者の助力を得て、史料一覧を作成した。その史料一覧を手掛かりにして古文書を閲覧・解読し、特に必要なものに関しては史料複写の申請を行った。収集できたものから順に、パソコンを用いて形状・文書名・年代・作成者・宛所などをデータベースソフトに入力する作業を行った。また、収集された必要な古文書についても解読を行い、随時パソコンに入力し史料化をはかった。同時に参考のために、他藩の山林支配の実情を把握すべく、讃岐高松・阿波徳島両藩の調査を実施し、文献の収集を行った。以上の成果については、簡易製本による「文献・文書目録」を刊行するが、一部史料のパソコンへの打ち込みが期間内に完了しなかったため、完成次第別途郵送する。なお、調査の過程において所在が確認されながらも、所蔵者の都合や自治体史の編纂過程などの理由で期間内に閲覧不可能な史料も多く存在した。その史料については、今後引き続き調査を行いデータ化につとめる所存である。
