本年度は前年度に行なった定種研究による理論フレームワークに基づき業号を製薬企業に絞り、質問紙調査を日本および海外の企業宛てに実施した。その際、「知識」の結合といった抽象概念を具体的コンセプトに落とすため、ここではR+Dに関するベストプラクティスの国際間での結合・移転についての調査を行なった。かかるプラクティスの採用・普及・定着化における障害とその克服策としての結合メカニズムを実証的に調査すべくデータ収集を行ない、統計的手法により分析を行なった。その結果、知識結合における惰性の克服にはoutput-Massリンケーだが、組織内の反発の克服にはbrokarintefactiveリンケージが、そしコンテクストの相違の克服にはinteractive-Massリンケージが有用であるという仮説が概して支持された。またそうした傾向は日欧間の調査結果に差が見られ、日本企業の側に敬〓〓に出ていた。又通常日本的とされるinteractiveリンケージを日本側が必ずしも高く評価してばかりいない点が興味深い点として挙げられる。
