英文摘要
Project P22 will investigate how changes in membrane properties affect signaling at curved plasma membrane microcompartments in vertebrate cells. To determine the membrane contribution to curvature-dependent signaling, the group aims to characterize (i) how changes in lipid composition affect biophysical membrane properties such as microviscosity, rigidity or tension, (ii) how changed membrane properties influence curvature-dependent protein dynamics, and (iii) how changes in curvature-dependent protein recuitment regulate cell signaling and function.
