1:ヒトHLA抗原(MHC class II抗原)のアミノ酸配列と大腸菌0:14株におけるOmpAおよびOmpCとの分子相同性の検索。またこの合成ペプタイドとRA患者リンパ球との反応性の検討する。(1) OmpC(DYGRNYGVVYDVT:114-118aa)とDR4抗原(YCRHNYGVVESFT:82-86)のアミノ酸配列の一部に一致が見い出された。(2) OmpCとDR4の相方に高い反応性をしめす症例は約60%で、OmpCのみに反応性を示す症例は66%であった。また、OmpCに対する反応性が、DR4に対する反応性より強い傾向にあった。2: RA患者に対する抗生物質(ミノサイクリン)の投与による抗体価(抗大腸菌0:14株加熱死菌抗体)、およびRA活動性の変動の検討。(1) ミノサイクリンの投与により、ランスバリー指数、赤沈値、RF、IgA、IgMと抗体価に減少傾向とサイトカインの一部に変動を認めた。また、γ-globulin、IgGにおいて有意な減少を認めた。(2) ミノサイクリンの投与群において投与前に抗体価が高かった症例は、調査時に抗体価の減少を認めた。(3) RF値の高い群は、低い群に比し抗体価が高い傾向にあり、ミノサイクリンの投与によりこの変動は前者に大きく認められた。

1: HLA antigen (MHC class II antigen) and its molecular identity with E. coli 0:14 strains. The synthesis of these drugs and the treatment of RA patients are discussed in detail.
