本研究の目的は,乳児期にある明らかな後障害のない低出生体重児とその母親を対象に,子どもの月齢による母子相互作用や育児ストレスの変化,関係性を明らかにすることであった.昨年度,研究計画の検証・充実に重点をおき,発達検査信頼性確保のためのトレーニング,および新生児行動観察における観察方法のトレーニングを受けた.今年度は新生児行動観察の信頼性・妥当性を得ることを目的に,実際の観察を行なった.また,低出生体重児を持つ母親と子どもの特徴を踏まえた支援を考えるにあたり,昨年度に受けたスーパーバイズ結果を元に,研究開始の対象年齢を引き下げることとした,本研究に使用する測定用具の妥当性を確認するとともに,支援の継続性を強化し介入の効果をはかるために,研究計画の再構成および質問紙の修正,作成を行なった.発達の過程で母子の相互作用を測定することは,同時に母子の関係に介入することになる可能性があり,継続的な支援を保障するため,新生児集中治療室のある看護単位でかつ地域の保健婦との連携だけでなく,外来においても看護婦による支援を行なっている施設の協力を得た.今後は生後早期からの支援モデル開発を目指し,慎重な計画の推進が求められる.したがって,縦断的に追跡するにあたっての手続きを検証中である.
