项目摘要

I.研究目的インドネシアにあるジャカルタイスラーム病院をフィールドとしてspiritual careの実態調査を行い、患者から表出されるspiritual needsの内容を分析する。II.研究方法1.期間:1999年12月18日〜2000年1月7日対象:入院患者150名2.Participant observerとして病院スタッフ準メンバーとなり、spiritual careの実践場面において倫理面に十分配慮しながら質問紙調査とインタビューデータを収集する。3.夜間帯や緊急呼出のspiritual careにも同行し参加観察を行う。III.結果考察1.質問紙回収数117名、回収率78.0%、インタビュー30名2.病院で行われているspiritual careサービスを分析した結果、以下のように分類できた。(1)「場」の共有(24時間体制・三交替)(2)危篤・臨終時のcare(手当て・祈り)(3)湯灌(死後の処置)(4)家族care(喪失・悲嘆)(5)共同体へのcare(地域住民・病院スタッフ)(6)pain care(意味付け・支持)(7)宗教的ガイダンス(指導・儀礼)3.入院患者から表出されたspiritual needsは、宗教的活動に関すること、病の二元的な問いかけ、困難・苦難を乗り越え平安・安寧を希求、試練の確認、家族や他人との繋がりの補強、希望の付与、人生の意味などに分類することができた。日常的にspiritual needsを意識しているインドネシアと違い、日本の先行研究ではマイナスイメージのspiritual needsの内容が報告されている。本調査により入院患者のspiritual needsは、誰もが抱く日常的な内容から個別で特異的なレベルまでを含むということが明らかになった。

Daily にspiritual needsをconsciousnessしているインドネシアとviolationい、Japanese pioneer researchではマイナスイメージのspiritual needsのcontentがreportされている. This survey focuses on the spiritual needs of hospitalized patients, the daily content of those admitted to the hospital, and the individual and specific needs of the patients.
