昨年度の研究で、幼児期の交代制ルールに及ぼす課題の難易度の効果が明らかになった。しかし、各年齢での違いという全体的な分析にとどまった。そこで今年度は、ルール共有過程のエピソード分析を行い、ルール共有に関する対人的交渉過程を検討した。昨年度録画した4、5歳児の魚釣りゲーム場面のデータを再分析した。特に交代不成立のいざこざ場面を取り出し交渉過程を検討した。その結果、4歳児でも、最初は動作で間接的に自己の要求を相手に伝えるが、交代してもらえないと直接的に「かして」と要求し、さらに理由を言語的に示して説得しながら交代制ルールを成立させようとした。つまり、4歳児でも言語と動作を用いて相手と交渉できる点が明らかになった。この結果を九州心理学会第62回大会で発表した。さらに、交代制ルールの共有過程に与える被験者の出生順位という個体内要因の影響を検討した。従来の出生順位による性格特性の違いの研究から、長子の方が末子より抑制的に行動すると予想された。方法は、まず4、5歳児を同性、同年齢で、しかも二人・三人きょうだいの長子と末子の二人組にした。二人組での魚釣りゲームの様子を10分間ビデオ録画した。録画された幼児の行動を分析した。主に、交代制ルール共有の際の主導性と遊具奪取行動に関する長子と末子の違いを検討した。その結果、交代の際、長子の方が末子よりも主張的な行動も抑制的な行動も多かったが、その差は小さかった。また、遊具奪取行動は長子の方に多く見られた。従って、長子の方が必ずしも抑制的に行動しているわけではないことが示された。この結果を日本教育心理学会第43回総会で発表し、大分県立芸術文化短期大学研究紀要にまとめた。
