この研究は2年間(平成15年度および平成16年度)の計画であり、平成16年度は以下の研究を実施した。1.研究対象者への研究協力依頼と調査およびデータ収集の実施1)糖尿病治療の目的で療養中(外来通院中および入院中)の中高年女性に、協力依頼・同意を得る手順に沿って、研究目的、方法、倫理的配慮などの説明を実施し、同意が得られた研究対象者に調査票を配布し、排尿行動、2日間の排尿記録の記入等の依頼を実施した。2)上記1)の患者の診療記録から患者の同意を得て、治療内容、血糖のコントロール状況(ヘモブロビンA_<1c>)、糖尿病による神経障害の程度などに関するデータを収集した。3)加齢による変化を比較検討するために、糖尿病でない人で、普通に日常生活をしている関東・東海地方に在住の中高年女性を選定し、研究の目的、方法、倫理的配慮等を文書で説明し、同意が得られた研究対象者に調査票および採尿器具を送付し、排尿行動、2日間の排尿記録の記入等の依頼を実施した。2.糖尿病患者(2日間の排尿記録が終了した者)に、下部尿路検査装置による排尿状態の測定と、超音波膀胱容量測定装置を用いた残尿量測定を実施した。3.得られたデータを整理してコンピューターにインプットし、集計したデータを分析・解釈している。また、調査票の回収率を高めるために、調査への協力を再依頼した。4.糖尿病患者の蓄尿・排尿機能障害を早期に発見する視点、および対処方法を考察した。以上
