项目摘要

機器やシステムの開発における上流設計のプロセスでは、当該機器・システムのユーザのニーズや必要性に滴合した開発を行わねばならず、そのためにはユーザやその生活や業務の実態に関する的確な情報を把握することが必要である。その目的を実現するためにインタビューや観察というフィールド手法を用いられることが多いが、そこから得られた情報については、それを的確に外化し、関係者で概念共有することが大切である。フィールド手法から得られる情報は質的、定性的なものであり、質問紙調査の結果のように平均値を算出したりする統計的な処理は適用できない。そこでシナリオという形で情報の集約を図る方法が考案され利用されてきたが、得られた情報を適切に集約し表現するためにはそれなりの熟練と作文能力が必要であった。そこで、シナリオ手法に関する手順を整理し、マイクロシナリオ手法を開発するに至った。マイクロシナリオ手法では、まずユーザに関する情報やその生活・業務の実態に蘭する情報をGI(基本情報)として整理し、問題点についてはpMS(問題マイクロシナリオ)として要約する。pMSに関するキーワード検索にもとづいて類似の問題を抽出し、その問題点を整理した後、それに対する解決案であるsMS(解決マイクロシナリオ)を記述する。特定の問題に関するsMSを複数考案した後、その重要性や実現可能性などに関する計算を行い、最適と考えられるsMSを選択する。このようなマイクロシナリオ手法を開発し、複数の企業の協力を得ながら情報通信機器や機械製品などの開発に適用し、その妥当性や利便性の確認を行った。さらにマイクロシナリオ(特にpMS)の作成を支援するアルゴリズムを考案し、その特許化を行った。
